SELF COMPENSATING WO WA CHARGING
FOR TRACTION BATTERIES
In line with its tradition of microprocessor controlled charges
and using the latest state of the art tecnology, Nuova elettra
introduces LS2 PLUS, the new generation of fully self-compensating,
microprocessor controlled Wo-Wa charges. LS2 PLUS finds its best
application in multishifts operation, considering that it gharger
a battery in less that 8 hours.
It bases the charge profile on the actual characteristicsof each
battery being charged and thanks to its self diagnostic capability
proviedes full information to the operrator. LS2 PLUS charges
the battery with calculation of the recharge coefficient and incorporates
a comprehensive display of status information relating to.

SPECIFICATION
> WO-WA charging mode in complicance with curve DIN 41774;
> Charging principle is based on calculation of the recharge coefficient;
> Automatic start after a 8 second delay (Starting can be delayed
to take advantage of off-peak electricity).
> Pre-charging mode; detection system ensuring prevention of overcharging
and incorporating a charge inhibit for overdischarged batteries.
> During the Bulk-Charge, LS2 PLUS calculates the number of Amperes
per hours required for full charging, with charge factor adjustementto
meet individual charging needs; the advantage of this type of charge
is that,it supplies the battery with the number of Amperes per hours
required, with the ability to edjust automatically for mains fluctuations
and depth of discharge.
>The unit monitors the on charge battery amps, terminating the
charge only when stabilised conditions at the rnd charge are detected.
> Pulsed equalising mode (24h), with facility for equalising delay;
> Compensation charge;
