In the least years, new of batteries, alternative to traditional ones, reached excellentperformances in the electrical traction: those having gelatinous electrolyte in particular.

For this reason, Nuova Elettra has introduced an equipatment particularly cared for this special market called "GEL".

> Normal charging system (WUIa);
> Pulsed equalization charge(48h);
> Automatic start after a 8 seconds delay;
> Double safety timer (14h), set on network frequency;
> Extra low voltage transformer (24V);
> Universal p.c. board, interchangeable on all models of the same range;
> Digital ammeter;
> In case of network breakdowns during normal operation the last rate of supplied current is recorded and on re-establishing of normal conditions, automatic insertion of charging from the above mentioned rate;
> Suitable for wet conventional liquid electrolyte batteries, by replacing the p.c. board with an appropriate one.
